Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

I bought the Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven last night on HSN. I have been watching it when it came on the past year. It was $100.00 off. It is the 29L Model. I also bought Marion Getz Book that is for this also. Does anyone

have this and have any hints?  You can make a 14 pound turkey in one hour. It came with the rotisserie and basket and 8 skewers. Easy to use. Pull the lever down to lock and put the button on the top of the unit to seal like a regular Pressure Cooker. I will keep my regular Pressure Cooker for all my pasta dishes I make. I made acorn squash in the Air Fryer today and it was delicious!  Smiley Happy

I am so on the fence about buying this.  I am hoping you get some helpful reviews/comments here.

Good luck with your new appliance.

I'd love to have it, but, got to much stuff anyway and how often do you bake turkeys.

I bought mine almost a month ago.I did not get the one you have as I already have a rotisserie.I bought Marion 's cook book as well. You will find that wolf uses the middle rack and Marion uses the lower one...keeps you confused all the time.Ive cooked a roast from Wolf's cook book that comes with the oven and it was a disaster dried out...Chicken from Marion was perfect so Im staying with her.....I use the bake function on the oven everyday and have been pleased.I live in high altitude area and I have to ajust the tempeture to a lower setting than suggested and less time.Im still on the learning curve.....I did watch youtube and learned afew tips..I have not gotten a meat thermoneter and need too but some use them others don't..The pressure mode Im not so impressed with as of today .Yesterday bought his pressure. cooker and its on the way.I will say be prepared for  mistakes but keep trying as thats what Im going to do.Roasts are pretty expensive to learn on So I recomend cheaper cuts until you learn your oven......good luck you will get it right!!!!!!!

@pattiewaddle Thanks for the nice honest review. I will give the oven a few weeks to use and I usually can figure it out. All our new small appliances have a learning

curve. I will post hints and tricks here as I go along the way. Smiley Happy

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

I will have to post when I make a turkey. If it starts to get too brown on topI will tent it with foil. Anytime Clem you are welcome! Smiley Happy I will watch the meats to be sure I don't overcook thwm the first time. I have a nice Polder that makes it easy to check the temp of foods quickly. That came from QVC years ago.

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

I am so having the smaller version of that pressure oven when my microwave goes.  I'd have it now, but my kitchen is too tiny.  Good luck with yours, @MKR14 .  I'm sure it won't take you long to master the technique.Woman Happy

Re: Wolfgang Puck Pressure Cooker Oven

@Gokat I was hoping to hear from you. I will keep this oven as long as it is not dented in shipping and it works. I always can figure things out- except men !  I don't give up. I already made a spot in my kitchen for it. It's a regular oven as well as a pressure cooker oven so you don't have to buy it just for

making turkeys. I will make a turkey first just to try it out. If I ruin the turkey who cares? I am not a huge lover of turkey anyways. I will put the oven to good use any way. I haven't cooked this much in a long time and healthy now with my air fryer. I cancelled the TSV Air Fryer coming up and ordered Wolfgang Pressure Cooker oven in it's place.

I went to my specialist today for my post op visit. The stent is doing an awesome job on my energy level and the pains are gone in my chest and back. The doctor stretched the duct where the stent is. Now I have to have another surgery to have it taken out on November 3rd. It will have stretched the duct enough to take it out by then. I have been busy around the house that I haven't been doing the last 6 weeks. He did ok me to exercise

so game on Nano Gym. I will make up a chart of what exercises I do and put a check mark each day next to all that I do. That makes me do them ! Are you using yours?  Smiley Happy
