Re: Wolferman's English Muffins

I have bought these muffins, and breads, from Wolfermans for over 20 years. What does that say? They are the absolute best !

Re: Wolferman's English Muffins

I ordered them this year after several years of not ordering. I put 3 of the packs in the freezer and we are eating the blueberry now. I was pleased to see I could order crumpets. They arrived yesterday. Before ordering I checked retailmenot and found a free shipping code. I think I was able to use Mr. Rebates.

I always check Mr. Rebates, and I forgot this time. I could have gotten 8% back and free shipping. There's a free shipping code on the Mr. Rebates site, too. Oh well. I'll remember next time. Smiley Surprised(

Thomas's are the original English muffin since 1880. They are the best by far.

I was introduced to English muffins as a kid, and they were Thomas's. I don't think Wolferman's is claiming to be the first people to make them. They are but one more company to make an excellent English muffin. There is room for lots of English muffin makers!!! I no longer buy Thomas' muffins....I find them dry. I only buy Bay's English Muffins and personally feel they are the best by far. Wolferman's muffins are very very good. I send them at the holidays because they have such good packages with lots of variety. I can't buy them locally.

I have eaten Bay's since childhood (a looong time), and totally prefer them to Thomas's muffins. I also enjoy Wolferman's. Taste, and "best" is completely individual.

They're not really the original; they were just the first to market them.

Re: Wolferman's English Muffins

Try Bay's English Muffins in the refrigerator section. I get the whole grain ones. They are great! I have this toaster from WalMart Product Details. I pop in an English muffin, an egg, and a turkey sausage patty. It all pops up and is done. I just assemble and am out the door. You can use the egg beaters too and any kind of meat or none. It also comes in a four slice/two egg version for those with larger families.

Re: Wolferman's English Muffins

I love them, but can only eat a half at a time. That makes them last longer, though. Love the different flavors! I may order the minis for the holidays, just for a change.
