LOL, what some people will complain about. It's hard to say, maybe it's a word used in his family. When I order a pop in a restaurant, people look at me like I have 3 heads.

I very much enjoy watching David's shows ~ I am not a cook nor do I spend much time in the kitchen! However, I admire his always upbeat attitude, his genuine courtesy toward others and his overall happy demeanor! In my opinion, he is a role model for showing respect ~ thanks, I'm sure, to an excellent upbringing.

I hope he is not in line to become "the next Lisa" ~ target of undeserved nastiness!!

He sells things and he acts silly. That's about all I know about the guy having never met him nor known people who know him.

Same here, LOL. When describing the same things day after day, I appreciate when a host doesn't rely on the same words over and over.

I think QVC has referenced many ""cooking pots"" as vessels for years. (maybe David started it?)

I first heard 'vessel' used as a cooking term by Martha Stewart - in a cookbook I read several years ago. She was describing how she served a soft boiled egg.
