Re: Whats cooking this march?

Chicken sandwich tonite for me made with a fresh Rotisserie chicken and 5 grain Jessica's bread The hubs just had the chicken with some green beans. I had some dark russet potato chips and a pickle with my sandwich. The chips are UTZ brand, super crispy and actually tasted way better than the Cape Cod chips.

Also picked up an 8lb bone-in smoked shoulder to cook in a few days for boiled dinner and cabbage, carrots, parsnips, 2 types of turnip and potatoes. We aren't crazy for corned beef so smoked shoulder is our St.Pat's dinner. but I always fix it before the Holiday.

Got a tray of pastries: mini cream puffs, eclairs and napoleons. put the tray in the freezer. so these items arent easily' gobbled up if they're in the fridge.

DH and I had hair appointments today and stayed out to get some shopping done.  We stopped at Culver's for bunless bacon cheeseburgers and broccoli.

Re: Whats cooking this march?

Good evening everyone. Jeanloisefrench glad to hear you and your family are all safe from awful weather. Sending prayers and well wishes to all those effected by tornados.I can't imagine what that must feel like in seconds to have everything taking away. Its been great weather down here but that's about to change. Its amazing that just over two weeks ago we got 3 feet of snow from that historic blizzard. There's still snow piles but must around us snow has melted. I haven't been on much lately.  I still haven't been feeling that good. Everything I do takes me so much longer now and I'm still in alot of pain . not as much but alot more than I used to have. I have an MS specialist appointment tomorrow and I will see my MRI results. I do have alot of pain meds but they don't do much. I never really wanted to try cannibus for pain but at this point I'm ready to try it. I will be asking my MS doctor about it tomorrow.  Monday I made pasta with ground beef and a cream sauce. If I had frozen peas it would have made a good addition. I checked but none in the frezzer. Leftovers last night because I didn't feel like cooking. Tonight I made mashed potatoes, fried chicken, corn with gravy. I said I was going to put a recipe for chicken pot pie soup on here. I haven't but I will soon. Have a great night everyone.

We had dinner at Applebees tonight.  I had chicken parm alfredo, SO had a sirloin/mashed/broccoli.  I should have stuck with my chicken lime fiesta, but it was still ok.  I have enough for another meal.
