Re: Whats cooking this march?

Lasagna and garlic toast tonight.  Ok, I'll admit it .....it's Stouffers.
Grapes and pears for dessert.  It's just one meal I don't care to make homemade.  Not sure why.  My moms was the best.  Always was my requested birthday dinner as a kid.

@lynnie61

Stouffers lasagna and Marie Callender's pot pies can usually be found in my freezer, for a quick meal once a week.  I'm all about quick and easy foods for me now and these are 2 things I like, along with a turkey entree occasionally.

Re: Whats cooking this march?

Beef stew with lots of carrots and parsnips. only have 5 small white potatoes so having mashed taters with stew. I used to put the potatoes in with  the stew . but I liked the mashed better.

Lately I have kind of been on strike in the kitchen.  Meals I intended to make have been a bust. A few dyas ago after the snowstorm I had shrimp defrosting in the fridge and it started  to smell really off. I bagged it up and refroze it to return to Aldi's.  When I was at the register returning, the cashier said "Pink Argentinan Shrimp?" I said yes so my guess is others returned that too.  I noticed on the frozen case they marked down that shrimp. It should have been pulled off the shelves. Nasty stuff...the odor lingered in my fridge for days!
