Re: Whats cooking this march?

Stuffed pepper soup and side salads.  When I make soup, I make enough to freeze.  More easy dinner days!

@ lynnie61, We love stuffed pepper soup. I always make a big batch of soup and freeze it also. So good. We are having hot dogs and coleslaw. Beautiful day here, sunny and 65!

We had a great visit with DS and the kids yesterday.  It was nice enough that would could play outside. DGD loves helping in the kitchen.  She helped put our soup together, taste testing all the ingredients as she added them to the pot. She mixed everything together and I took care of heating it.  While we worked she told me about helping her grandma make a lamb cake and pierogis for Easter.    When dinner was ready, she ate half of the steak, about 1/4-1/3 cup of sauteed mushrooms (leftovers from Thursday), half of a mini pepper, and a few spoonfuls of soup that she asked to try.  She already asked for French toast and scrambled eggs on Thursday so she can break all the eggs.  LOL

I'm on my way to the dentist....🤞

Fasting Monday here.

Re: Whats cooking this march?

My appointment yesterday lasted all of ten minutes.  The dental assistant took an X-ray.  The dentist said the bone graft is a 10 out of 10 and the tissue is healing nicely.  Now we wait.  Next appointment is in June.

I thawed some boneless skinless chicken breasts.  I plan to grill them and make buffalo sauce.  I have some celery and blue cheese dressing to serve with them but also plan on making either Brussels sprouts or broccoli too.

Its beautiful outside this morning.  It rained overnight and feels like spring.  Some bad storms are on their way tonight.  We're in the potential tornado zone. 🙏

Re: Whats cooking this march?

Ribeyes, baked potatoes and broccoli salad tonight.  Another day of good temps, then getting colder again at the end of the week.
