I had to have a root canal on two crowned molars.  My Endodontist was great and both teeth are preserved.  I bet your procedure will go well too.

Thanks for that, @4kitties . 😊

I made pizza and small salads for us.
Tuesday will not come soon enough for me to see the orthopedic Dr. Except for Sunday I am working but do take a few breaks to rest my leg.
I hope those that are traveling this weekend to be safe and to take time to think about Memorial Day and those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for all of us🇺🇸

I miss seeing @house_cat and hope all is well with her.

Spent the day cooking with family members who are headed to the beach house for a group vacation.

One of the items we made was Toscano soup. I kept enough for dh and I to have a big bowl of soup with sourdough rolls. DH had brownies for dessert.

I hope @house_cat is doing well too. I believe she mentioned she was helping her kids quite a bit and has been very busy. We are thinking of you @house_cat

Last night DH wanted a cheesesteak so we got sandwiches from a local sub shop.  I had a french dip that I cut into pieces and dipped into the au jus with a fork.

Even though we have a beach house, I don't like to go to the beach during holidays as it is too crowded.  Oldest DD, her dog and friends are using the house this weekend and 4th of July weekend.  Youngest DD and her friends are going the first week in June to celebrate her friends' college graduations.  DH and I are going on June 14 for two weeks and again in the beginning of August for two weeks.

Today will be a really nice day, warm temps and low humidity.  DH and I are going to the local casino and horse racing track to watch and bet on the ponies.  My father was very fond of horse racing and took me to the track often as a child.  He taught me all about reading the racing fourm and handicapping.  I don't bet any more than 20 dollars for the entire afternoon and it is a fun way to spend some time outdoors.

Things went quite well at the endodontist yesterday.  She was both friendly and informative.  I thought I'd be in more pain, but it's really not bad.  I have to be careful about what I eat until the restoration is completed by my general dentist.  I can't call there until Tuesday.  The endodontist said to get it finished within a month.  Until then, nothing crunchy on that side.

Our well guy didn't make it here yesterday because he was tied up on a job.  He said he'd be here first thing this morning.  He'll need to check out the layout our crawl and decide how he's going to proceed.  I'm still in my jammies so I'll make myself scarce.

Once the well guy leaves, DH needs to bring our dog to the kennel for an overnight.  We have a graduation party to attend this afternoon for our great-niece and it's close to a 2 hr. drive each way.  I'm really looking forward to seeing extended family and friends.  I hope she likes her gift.  I ordered her a sweatshirt and pink baseball cap from the university she's going to attend and added some cash in her card.  I know that Portillo's beef and tossed salad will be on the buffet so DH and I are set food wise. 😋

Have a great Saturday everybody!  😊

Last night was sloppy joes, cucumber rounds, carrot sticks, potato chips and dip.

DH has a fishing club event today with pizza and chicken buffet afterwards. I sent a veggie tray with dip and chocolate chip cookies.

My dinner will be Olive Garden with 2 of my gal pals! I can't wait! Have a great day!
