Re: What's Cooking in May 2020?

I defrosted som Italian turkey sausage  and sautéed it with peppers, onion ,and mushrooms. I added a can of tomatoes, garlic and red pepper flakes and served it over spaghetti. It was delicious !🍝

With a high of 45 degrees in my area of WV today, I wanted soup, so I made split pea and added chunks of country ham.   My family opted for pizza.

Re: What's Cooking in May 2020?

Red Top, the last few days we have reached close to 100 - 06 today and sticky wet. Just not ready for this at all. Temps will be dropping into the 80s in a day or so - hope that is true. Better than what we have had.

Sent Davey up to the German Market in the next block today.Got a  yummy Black Forest Ham sandwich with cheese and he and his friend also got sandwiches. They have tremendous food - thank goodness you can still go in and get sandwiches to take out.He and his wife came from Germany in the early 60s. am sure it will not be long before he retires - he is ancient but still plugging along.

Hope all had a good day
