Re: What's Cooking in January 2017

Thanks Preds!!

Had honey barbecued chicken tenders, garlic flavored Fries and corn and peas. Interesting for sure but really good.

'

am freezing right now. Miss Blackie jumped up and in my way of course but is snuggling my face. Guess she is ready for bed. Bless her - I had forgotten just how sweet she could be - she had a few years there when she hid most of the day. Do regret that but was not really aware I should have noticed. Like I have already said, she is back into running the household now. LOL

Hope one and all had a great day.For sure that little girl is in my way. Trying to type in between her belly, and then her front legs and then she reaches up and smooches. Good night one and all.

Baked red skin potatoes, fresh spinach and some of that great pork roast with barbecue sauce. Very good meal and we all ate our fill. Yes indeed.

Very wet and cold today - rained off and on all day long. and Brrrrr, was it ever cold. Yes indeed.

Thanks Preds.

Re: What's Cooking in January 2017

Had chili cheese fries - from Farmer Boys. Super good for a cold night and after a very busy day.

Still am so sad ------------ where are all the ones who use to stop by. So lonesome here. Hope we do not lose this thread - been here for many years.

Hi Pooky - love squash of any kind. How was the green squash baked - sounds really good to me.

Good morning one and all, as of right now have NO clue what will be for dinner.

Do know I bought four boneless chuck roasts yesterday - Foods 4 Less had them on sale for $2.47 a pound. Their meat is very good by the way - so bought two family packs of two each, and separated them, and put them in the Freezer. I buy like that when I see a good sale, etc - saves time and money down the road. May just put one in for dinner. Perhaps not one of those as I had two still in the Freezer and that is a small number I usually keep on hand. You can do so much with a roast.

Have a great day one and all and yes, it is quite chilly this morning. Encouraging thing, however, if true, is tomorrow it is suppose to be 71. If true that will be great and certainly more our norm. Again have a great day!!!
