Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Thank you @spix.  Sending big, healing hugs to you and @Soushi24.  I've had and am having a few hard days, too so I know how you both feel.

@Winifred ... Love bagel bites.  Fix extras sometimes so that I can take them to work for lunch the next day. Smiley Happy  Always add extra cheese, too. Smiley Wink

Hi @Bird mama and @flbettyboop! Smiley Happy

Tonight will be grilled chicken, roasted 'taters and something.  LOL

Hi @Preds

I'm eating a take out pizza.  Not much of a Betty Crocker over here, lol.

Hey, have figured out my house will NEVER calm down until it is just ME living here with my four legged critters and feathered friends outside. What can I say? But then, some of those four legged critters will also - and have - test me. LOL.

Hahaha ... we did Duncan Hines today @Bird mama.  DH grilled the chicken and the taters get shoved in the oven.  Even I can handle that ... unless I burn them.  Smiley Happy

I made my version of German hamburgers last night with Iceberg lettuce, cucumber, and tomato salad with my home made Thousand Island dressing.  I find Iceberg is the only lettuce that the dressing tastes great on, so use other dressings with other greens.

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Yesterday, was a cooking marathon.  I made twenty-six mini loaves of pineapple zucchini bread.   I didn't intent to make that many, but never having worked with an eighteen mini loaf pan, doubled a recipe and this was the result, lol.  they are individually wrapped and in the freezer.

Wow @mousiegirl!  You did have a busy day.  They look wonderful.  Never cared for zucchini bread but maybe pineapple added would have changed my mind. Smiley Happy

Have boneless pork chops and cabbage in the slow cooker - pasta with butter as a side. Also will have sliced tomatoes.

Dkies looking a tad cloudy and wind is picking up. Geesh!
