Re: What's Cooking for March

Good morning everyone. Preds, always enjoy your greetings. Thanks so very much!!!

We had grilled burgers last night with the trimmings of course and French Fries. Pretty good and it brought back memories of my Father out grilling. He could to mean burgers and hot dogs on the outside grill - and he also enjoyed doing it. A very good combo.

Was a nice day yesterday but like most days, a tad too short when it came to getting things done. This house was a disaster yesterday and not much cleaned up either.

Soushi, hope Nelson gets some relief with the VA visit. Let us know.

Have a good day everyone.

Re: What's Cooking for March

Morning,

I'm going to get kicked off here for non-cooking! Ate out all three meals yesterday. Yep, this is sad. Will try to do better. Does peanut butter toast this morning count?

Need to head to the store, trying to limit the food in the house so not so much to pack. A fine line here.

Good to read everyone's menu. Feel like I know all of you, my cyber friends.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Re: What's Cooking for March

I understand Soushi - we had pizza and it did not go over any too well. I picked it up at the store and I obviously did not pay close attention to everything - it was so spicy not even the kids enjoyed it. What a bummer.

Tonight will toss a roast in the slow cooker - do not know yet what will be a go with but for sure will come up with something.

Davey is with his Dad for a few days - Spring Break here - so we need to pitch in to clean the litter boxes, haul out the containers to the street, etc - trash pick up tomorrow early a.m.

Aldi's officially opens here tomorrow also - am excited about that.

Today would have been my daughter's  63rd BD - she has been gone so long and I continue to miss her something fierce. Love you Becky.

Re: What's Cooking for March

Good Morning all,

Nothing much happening in the kitchen here. Will thaw 2 TBones from home for dinner tonight. Yep, I will cook.

Weather is beautiful here, in the 80's. But I have a head cold with a sore throat. How does that happen? I'm gargling with salt water, that helps.

No plans today. We were busy yesterday. Breakfast out, stopped at local flea market to have a ring sized. Headed to the beach but traffic too heavy. It is spring break for the locals. Yes there was trouble on one of the keys with local high school beach goers.

Had the best hamburger in a long, long time at a small bar in a strip mall. It was so juicy that it dripped on the plate and needed 3 napkins to eat. Now that is a sign of a good burger.
