I'm still around @qualitygal.  Been a bad couple of months and I just haven't felt like being funny.  Just saying Good Morning has been a struggle, but time and faith will fix it.  I am a daddy's girl and I miss him even though I know he is still around and in such better hands now.  Heart

I totally understand.

Re: What's Cooking for March

Great picture for Wednesday Preds.

Fried up some chopped onion and ground beef in my trusty iron skillet, then spread some flour on it, browned it and added water and also a little bit of Kitchen Bouquet. Let it simmer for an hour or so.  Also had boiled okra and mashed potatoes. I often put that meat on bread - others in my family put it on the mashed potatoes. It was a yummy dinner - memories from my childhood.

Nice day today and it was really cold this morning. Tomorrow afternoon and on into the night should see the temps really fall and we should again have some rain - sounds good to me.

Tax man tomorrow - always dread that.

Hope all ate really well today. Sleep well!

Re: What's Cooking for March

Morning,

Okay, found my recipe for the meatballs I usually use. Much easier. I did make this recipe yesterday and took it to friend's house for dinner.

Outrageous Meatball Parm

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (85% lean)
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs salt to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon milk
  • Sauce of your choice (approx two 24-oz jars)
  • Parmigiano-Reggiano or Mozzarella cheese to top it off with!directions
  •
  • 1
  • 01. Mix all of the above ingredients and form your meatballs-not too large.
  • 2
  • 02. I made 27 meatballs.
  • 3
  • 03. Pan fry to brown them.
  • 4
  • 04. Don’t worry about cooking them through-they will finish cooking in the oven.
  • 5
  • 05. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  • 6
  • 06. Pour some sauce in the bottom of your dish.
  •
  • 12. Serve with pasta and use the extra sauce.
  • 11. Broil for a few minutes until melted and bubbling.
  • 10. Uncover and dress the top up with lots of cheese! It should be covered with cheese!
  • 09. Bake covered for 30 minutes.(Make sure they are cooked through.)
  • 08. Cover with more sauce.
  • 07. Lay meatballs on top of the sauce

Re: What's Cooking for March

Good Morning, well my air fryer arrived, now to figure out how to use it, frozen french fries seem best, but it's an expensive item for just that, they also say chicken wings are good, decisions

But tonite will be doing leftovers as it's an only  me day, will try to clean out the fridge.

Have a good day
