What do you store your grated cheese in?

I dont like the small containers that they come in, at the grocery store.  They don't stay fresh.  I am looking for something that would keep the cheese fresh, as we only have pasta a couple of times a month.

After I grate it, I vacuum seal it in a Foodsaver bag. Lasts a very long time.

I buy  Parmasano/Reggiano in a block at an Italian store, grate it on a rasp, put in Tupperware containers and freeze.  The store always has it cut in small blocks.  Always fresh and grated when I want it.

I never buy that grocery store stuff.

I just use a Ziploc bag and press out most of the air before closing it.

@Patriot3 That was going to be my suggestion. The fresh grated is the  best

Same here.  I like to grate my own because it's not only fresher but they put in preservatives such as cellulose to keep it from clumping on store grated cheese.

Fresh Grated Parmesan - in a glass mason jar.

I too like to use a glass jar, but if I don't have one I use one of my glass lock n'lock containers.

i grate cheeses as needed.

ungrated pieces are put in lock and lock containers.

if there is leftover grated cheese that also goes into a lock and lock container.

it really does make a difference.
