Re: What cooking this december?

Good evening everyone. Yestauday I baked 260 cookies for ria to take to work today. Chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. Plus other things I had to do and clean up from baking so I texted ria about ordering food because I didn't feel like cooking and I didn't think I would of had time but ria got home late but we ordered food from greggs restaurant. I have looked at calamari Many times but I never ordered it until last night. It was delicious. And I got a burger and potato puffs and we got a peice of cake each. Mini muffins for breakfast, leftover pasta and meatballs I had Anna gave me yesterday. I made pizza tonight and a dessert for tomorrow when my brother and his girl friend Are coming over tomorrow. Dessert is nutter butter cookies, vanilla pudding, once instant pudding is made you add melted peanut butter and mix it up. You make two layers. Of cookies then pudding then a layer of cool whip then repeat and add some melted peanut butter on top and refrigerate it 8 hours to over night. Its delicious. I have made it before. Ria got up for work at 2 am and tonight is her work Christmas party so as of now she's been up 20 hours and she's working in the morning. Have a great night everyone.

Re: What cooking this december?

Yesterday was quite the ordeal but it's done and we made it back home in time for DH to see the game.

DH just ran into town for a couple of errands.  Neither of us realized it but we were nearly out of cat food.

We're staying home the rest of today.  I need to finish gift wrapping and organize game prizes.

We had a big Mexican lunch yesterday.  Neither of us want much today so maybe some bacon, eggs, and roasted broccoli.

Re: What cooking this december?

I am making a shrimp appetizer to bring to my brother's mother-in-law's house.  It is so easy to make but everyone devours it.   I can never seem to make enough.  I am also going to make a Zuppa Inglese to bring to my brother's house for Christmas.  I already made the sponge cake last Sunday and have it in the freezer.
