Re: What Has Been Your Favorite Everyday Food Processor/Slicer/Chopper?

I'm another one that mostly uses knives. I have a Wusthof chef's knife that I've had for 15 years and I baby it, although it does go into the dishwasher occasionally with no rust like some knives. I have a Kitchen Aid food processor that I use mainly for slicing potatoes because getting uniform slices with a lot of potatoes is time consuming. For other things I can chop by hand much faster than I can find the correct blade and assemble the processor. I also have that small chopper CB has, but I use it only to scramble eggs.

I forgot the most important point, I highly recommend the Kitchen Aid.

faeriemoon ~ thanks for the note regarding clarification on your response! No harm done; i never interpreted it as snarky in any way! {#emotions_dlg.laugh} For now, i'm sticking with my plan to continue on slicing and chopping with my knives. I probably never would have even considered buying a new appliance in the first place, if it weren't for that TSV the other day! Wink

Thanks again to everyone for all the replies.. i really appreciate it and will know where to look when the mood to buy strikes me again!
