I am not vegan. However, it really bothers me when the meat, et al, vendors come on. They just seem to brag about their mass-marketing: yet never discuss the conditions these animals are grown in. Are they free-range, drug-free, comfortable conditions? Years ago, farms were often family-owned and the animals were honored and respected for providing sustenance. I'm sure everyone's seen the horrible conditions reported on TV that livestock, poultry, etc. must endure. I am sure QVC's vendors are not organic "farmers" - for they would tout that, which they don't. I think we should request QVC to only provide us with product from "humane" farmers. Don't know how we could accomplish with, unless we vote with our wallets. What do you think? am I the only one disgusted by these vendors? Perhaps I'm too sensitive, but wish we could insure a better way...
