Please explain to me how you, sitting in your own home, watching your own television -- one that could be turned with the simple touch of a button on a remote control -- were pressured by Rachael Ray.

She must have really been scary selling those orange-handled pans!

My opinion of what I observed does not have to be justified to you nor anyone else. Please take your 'attitude' to another topic. Thank you.

You are totally off base with your reply to KYToby...if you feel pressure to buy something from a TV program or Q, you need to find a new interest or seek out a prescription.

Again...take your attitude, too, to another topic and person. This thread was intended to give QVC an idea of what it felt like (to me personally) while watching this show. It was not to attack Rachel nor my character. Let's leave it at that!

Aren't these shows supposed to be enjoyable, how many of us just watch to window shop and be informed? I like RR and her products too, but this woman was way over the top yesterday.

Yes, and I thank you for your constructive comment that hopefully QVC and Rachel will be able to take into consideration from their valued customers when evaluating her shows. I would love to enjoy when she is on.

I love the gal....she definitely has chutzpah! Since she was a "hawker" herself before becoming a famous cook, I wouldn't expect anything less from her.

RR has changed, for the worse. She used to be mild mannered on her cooking show. Now she just looks rough around the edges, obnoxious, and very overbearing to even watch. She doesn't look or act like the same person from 5 years ago.

She doesn't need a host. She does the host's job and the vendor's job, which I find in bad taste. I don't watch her anymore.

{#emotions_dlg.thumbup} I totally agree!

It doesn't matter "which" host is on with her...she bulldozes them w/ her aggressive, obnoxious behavior.

This is the first time that I have ever felt that a show host or product host put way too much pressure on to sell their items. QVC...I hope you all take this as it is meant to be. I am not here to bash Rachel period. Her products are very innovative, and she is certainly passionate about what she sells. But...She is way too overbearing when she sells and needs to take it down a notch or so. It is hard to make out what both Rachel and the host is saying sometimes as Rachel talks over them.

Thank you for taking this into consideration the next time she is on. And please...other posters, please don't nastily 'bash' Rachel on this threat. Thank you!

Funny, I find your post overbearing and I think you should take your future posts down a notch. You're sounding a bit too aggressive and we all know how unattractive that is in a woman.

Re: Way too much pressure from Rachel Ray!

I'm mostly amazed at all these threads spelling Rachael's name wrong. Can't people be bothered to, at least, spell somebody's name correctly?

Ok, end of rant. Smiley Happy I've been seeing these threads for days now and it's grated on me a bit.

ITA! When Rachel was on I started watching for about ten minutes until I could no longer stand the sales pitch and the fast talking and tuned out. I do this with all the others especially when Shawn Killinger and Amy Stran are on.

I happened to have the tv on and was occupied in another room last night and became aware Shawn Killinger was on and couldn't believe my ears when I heard her asking Isaac or whoever she was on with "were they talking about me?"

I stopped what I was doing, came to the living room and reached for the remote as I'm sure billions were doing world-wide.

Who in their right mind would stop and stand listening to this garbage if they encountered a sales presentation like this by Rachel Ray at one of the high end kitchen stores or in Walmart?

Wouldn't most people walk away from Amy Stran "doing her thing" dressed as she does if they were shopping in a baby store or even a maternity shop for clothes let alone if they were shopping for regular things in a brick and morter store?
