Vitamix

Just received my Vitamix from the TSV and when I took the base out of the box it sounds as if a screw or some kind of metal is rattling in the inside of the base.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I am so disappointed as I was looking forward to making healthy meals.

Call CS to see if you can get a replacement.  In the past, they would occasionally agree to shipping a replacement ahead of receiving the return, but you still have to return the bad one promptly.  It's worth a call.

You might try talking with Vitamix customer service just to be sure what you're hearing is not normal before going through the ordeal of sending it back.
