I don't think the shipping should have been adjusted. Stuff happens. It's the luck of the draw.

Quit complaining. Move on.

I agree with other posters. No retroactive reduction on shipping. There are worse things in life. But all this angst over three dollars? Wow.

I quite honestly don't understand why one would expect to get refunded for shipping on an item that was ordered prior to a new policy being in effect. Maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't get it--no offense to the OP!

I think QVC should just stick to their guns. This is a new policy and they shouldn't go back even an hour!
I agree. (I edited your OP millie, hope that's okay)
QVC shoppers, just be happy and let's all move forward.------>>>
I agree also. New day, new policy.

Well, let's say for some reason the shipping increased - would you be out here complaining that they refused to charge you the higher amount? I think you are wasting your time and that of QVC customer service over such a small amount.

Let's face it, QVC has never been a great resource for customer incentives and the fine print on this new shipping policy indicates they continue down that road...
Over time, some now crowing about these changes will come to see clearly there are distinct disadvantages associated with them and it will also become very clear that for many items shipping is no better and is, in effect, potentially more costly... Moreover, QVC has long been perceived as playing more pricing games than the average merchant... and it appears that continues...
As with most business, they're in it to make money and they don't assess that 'happy customers' are as critical to their success as do many other retail operations... They also tend to demonstrate a somewhat arrogant 'take it or leave it' approach...
All that said, many merchants, it seems, are increasingly not honoring the age-old principle that a price reduction of whatever kind, upon request from a customer, is to be honored within a week or so... Again, happy shoppers are not their priority...
Like others, I'm sorry for your disappointment, but wouldn't have expected another outcome from this particular retailer and do agree that had the item price itself changed, a refund would have more clearly been in order. I disagree that offering you this few dollars back on shipping would necessarily have opened a can of worms and pretty clearly would have gone a long way toward ensuring a happy customer, were that seen as being important... Unfortunately, it isn't.
