I just placed an order for the upcoming KitchenAid Artisan Mixer and had it sent to my niece as a thank you gift.

I think this price is fantastic since it has the 5 qt. SS bowl and the attachments.  I purchased the exact same thing 4 years ago from Macy's (on sale) and paid $65.00 more!

Anyway, I've been wanting to gift this to her and have been waiting for a good sale price, and this is the best price I've seen.  She is going to be so surprised, can't wait until she receives it.

@DottieBlue congrats on your purchase, I'm sure your neice will be thrilled!

Fantastic price but I don't know that I can justify the purchase. While I cook and bake regularly, my KA 9 speed hand held does an amazing job.

@DottieBlue

Your niece is gonna love you forever!  All the things over the years I've bought my niece she always reminds me "gifting me my KA started my love for cooking & baking".  She uses it all the time.

Yes, wish Q offered a good deal 4 years ago when I bought hers -- I paid more thru Macy's like you.

The deal Q is offering is great - I bought mine last year when I downsized from a Pro600 model & I love it in yellow🙂

That is so nice of you.  Your niece will love it and enjoy many years of using it (and thinking of you).

She is going to love it and will think of you as she breezes through batches of cookies during the holidays. For years, I made do with a hand mixer and when the dough was too stiff - I knead by hand. I mostly made holiday cookies only. Do I want to spend the money and my very limited space for that contraption? NO

One year, I borrowed a KA and OMG - my many batches flew by. Gotta get one of these babies which I did. Why didn't I do this years ago? Now I bake and enjoy the process so much more.

What color did you get?

@DottieBlueMy problem continues to be that I can't find anywhere on the KA website that says ANY of their stand mixers are made/assembled in the USA.  I refuse to spend KA prices for mixers that may be made in some "23rd World Country".  For me, it's as simple as that.

I think this TSV is a great deal and I LOVE all the colors!! but I have my basic, white KA mixer that I have had for 25 years now that still does its thing, so will not be buying a new one. but LOVE the toffee color---that would be the one I would order.

Not in the market for one and I am normally a red person for kitchen appliances but I am liking the lavender cream.

Last night during the midnight presentation Rick said 2 colors had already sold out and I am wondering if anyone knows what those colors were ? I was just curious since I can’t imagine another color as there are 15 already !!

I got my daughter the lavender cream. She asked for one for Christmas and she graduates from college in May so I thought it would be a great gift !!

this mixer is tempting but a little much for a single person, I am tempted to buy it but I buy so many things I don't use and have a small kitchen, not sure where I will store it
