On the bread rack they have fabulous, fabulous rolls that you finish cooking in your oven.

We shop there regularly ... and I would like to mention some holiday items.

For Thanksgiving they sell brined turkeys. They also sell AMAZING pre made side dishes. The side dishes go very quickly so look for them starting in October.

For Christmas ... they sell a set of 3 different body scrubs pre-packed. They go like hot cakes and make wonderful gifts. They also sell shea butter hand cream that I stock up on for the whole year. We also bought a package of 4 exotic salts which we gave as gifts. I am sorry I did not buy more.

EVERY Trader Joe's has a new items section. Ask the workers at the store to show you where it is. That is where you find items like the body scrubs, hand creams and other one time items.

Last mention is incredible hot chocolate in a tin. Only available for a few weeks in the winter.

What are pastry pups?

Fancy Pigs in a Blanket (freezer section).

They are delicious.

I forgot to mention almond biscotti, Harvest Blend Grains, Korean scallion pancakes, and chicken pot pie (the kind in the refrigerator section).

Now that I'm thinking about it, and off topic, more or less.........Oreo Pumpkin Spice Cream cookies are supposed to be available for a few weeks or so. (The exact name might be different).

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I love Trader Joe's. Love the good prices year around, with no need for 'sales' and/or coupons. Perfect! What I call 'Easy Shopping'........

Did you try the Caramel Apple?

I thought they were only so-so. We actually threw them out....didn't want to waste the calories!

I've seen that posted here before, but it's not true. I've been to several TJ's in different states, and none of them have a new items section. It's certainly possible that a lot of them do, but definitely not all. Just wanted to clarify so people aren't wandering around looking for it!

And to the OP: There have been many threads about this. If you do a search, you'll find them, loaded with lots & lots of suggestions. I love TJ's - It's always a fun experience, IMO!
