I love Trader Joe's. Love the good prices year around, with no need for 'sales' and/or coupons. Perfect! What I call 'Easy Shopping'........

I agree! And the people who work there are super-helpful. Always service with a smile, which is nice and not all that common elsewhere nowadays. I never leave there frustrated or stressed out - Just happy to get my goodies home!

Another vote for the Korean scallion pancakes - my Dh is hooked on them - an easy breakfast and healthy!!

Also love their eggplant parm (grilled)...and their toffee candy - I could eat the whole thing in one sitting.

Recently tried something yummy and, of course, cant remember the name - it is some kind of a "tarte" - I think it is called "Tarte aux Champignons"made with emmenthaler and parmesan chees and several different kinds of mushrooms...it's in the pizza section, I think...only 600 calories for the whole thing and it's a meal! Just delish!!

Also the Lavendar Sea Salt Scrub is very nice - only 5.99 - great stocking stuffer!

Tried the Pork Belly last weekend because it was recommended here on the Board - great! got a BIG thumbs up from DH!

I haven't tried a lot of their stuff so far, but everything I have, has been top notch!

I absolutely adore their Enrich facial moisturizer! It's awesome!

And also their body moisturizer -- Mid Summer Night Creme --- it's great.

As for food, I buy their instant oatmeal packets. The berry kind with chia seeds. I like it a lot.

And they have these plastic round containers of little crunchy cookies that are just the best. I think they are called Dress Circle. Different flavors to choose from - chocolate chip, peanut butter, and the one I love -- oatmeal raisin!

Yellow mustard is just as good or better as the well-known mustard.

Their apples are great. I buy flowers there, too!

I am really getting into this store. It is so nice and clean and everyone is so friendly. It is a pleasure to shop there!

EVERY Trader Joe's has a new items section.Ask the workers at the store to show you where it is. That is where you find items like the body scrubs, hand creams and other one time items.

Last mention is incredible hot chocolate in a tin. Only available for a few weeks in the winter.

I've seen that posted here before, but it's not true. I've been to several TJ's in different states, and none of them have a new items section. It's certainly possible that a lot of them do, but definitely not all. Just wanted to clarify so people aren't wandering around looking for it!

And to the OP: There have been many threads about this. If you do a search, you'll find them, loaded with lots & lots of suggestions. I love TJ's - It's always a fun experience, IMO!

I haven't seen the "New Items" section either.

There are many threads on this topic, but it's always fun when a new one starts.

At our store, they put a lot of new items in the end shelves.

The one that I shop at has one end cap dedicated to "new items".

I used to stop at TJs several times a month, but about a year ago they relocated and it's not as convenient for me, and I just got out of the habit of stopping. I should get back there soon. You have all given me so many good ideas! Most of my favorites have gradually gotten phased out. It's nice that they try and keep offering new items, but I do miss some of my old favorites, like Nirvana (veggie) burgers, and they had a great corn and bean salsa.

Years ago I read that they don't sell anything with HFCS, which really impressed me. I wonder if that's still true?

Yes, I agree! I'm always happy to have new things to look for the next time I go.

I didn't mean that the OP should look at other threads rather than start a new one. I really was just trying to let her know that she can find even more suggestions if she does a search. In addition to the ones here!
