Has anyone bought and used the Tovala oven with their meals?

I've been using mine for about 10 days. The meals tend to be a little pricey but they require 20 minutes or less to cook. The food is good, too.

So far I'm impressed.

@madzonie  I'll be interested in reading the replies to this.  I have thought about it, too, but didn't want to buy it if the food wasn't any better than Stouffer's or Healthy Choice.

Do you buy the other frozen foods that I mentioned?  How do you think they compare?

$12.00 or so a meal is not in my budget.

I like the looks of the oven itself, but the food plan seems overpriced.

I saw a Tovala commercial a few months ago and my first thought was that they were not going to get many orders because it seemed insulting that they thought we were too lazy to put food in our current counter top oven and enter the time and temperature.  I guess every minute saved is a good thing, though. I hope you continue to enjoy it.

Re: Tovala oven?

Can the oven be used for other things, or just the meals?

I don't need anything else on the kitchen counter, thank you.  But it seems Tovala should take a page from printer manufacturers: sell the oven cheap, and wait for customers to get hooked on the expensive meals.

The idea that you need a "special oven" for their "special meals" is really over the top!! Nope, not for me! There are literally a million reasons why I wouldn't buy this!

And oh by the way, buy another counter waster useless appliance because it's the ONLY thing that can cook our "special one of a kind" meals? Ridiculous!!

Just another latest & greatest to hook those looking for the holy grail-until the next thing comes along.

@madzonie  Has there been any meal you did not like?  They sure do get a lot of positive reviews.  It's wonderful that you are happy with it, it's less expensive than restaurant fare though helpings appear small.  Good for older people or those too busy or who don't like to cook.
