Anyone have one? Which is the best brand? Are you really happy with using zuchinni noodles/spaghetti instead of regular noodles/spaghetti?
I'm on Weight Watchers and I'm thinking I need one of these.
What do you make with them and what vegetables to you like to use?

If you have a kitchenaid mixer, the attachment for it works wonderfully! Sturdy and efficient!

I really really like mine. It's a cheapie, not even sure the brand. I think it may have come from target or somewhere similar. I saute my zoodles in garlic and oil, I've added feta and cherry tomatoes, whatever is on hand. They dont really substitute for carbs but im not hungry afterwards so in that respect it does help. What do you have to loose? They're only about $10. Worth it to me.

I use my veggie peeler. My husband loves when I make it.

I just use one of those cheap vegetti gizmos. I love to spiralize zucchini.
If I'm going to be honest, I can not compare the zuchinni noodles to pasta noodles. I spent a long time trying to find something that I liked as much as the real thing, and nothing came close. BUT, when I stopped trying to measure veggie subs against pasta, it was then that I began to love them. I like the zuchinni nooddle sauteed, but I also love them raw with different salad dressings, or even salt and a touch of vinegar.
Same goes for other veggie "subs". Cauliflower crust does not taste like bread to me. Cauli mashed potatoes aren't JUST like the real thing. But gosh darn it, It's pretty darn good anyway.

My sister bought the hand-held Oxo spiralizer. She likes it. It is a good option if you don't have a lot of space. They sell it at Target, Kohls, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc.

I got mine at Ollie's for $10.99, It works great! The zucchini works well as spaghetti, but you have to get rid of the water in the veggie. You can salt and drain it or blanch it. I like it with sauteed chichen, tomatoes and basit.

I have the one pictured over on Recipes spiralizing thread, @mima . I had the little cone/handheld type, but this newer one is so much better with a hand crank and a few different cuts...including a ribbon cut along with the spirals. I use mine for the usual zucchini and yellow squash with various sauces and salad dressings. It also works well with potatoes/sweet potatoes for curly fries (in my new air fryer) and for cucumbers in salads or alone with a little dressing or just vinegar (salt & pepper). I really love the spiralizing and all the variations on fresh veggies!![]()

@Anita Hug I agree with you , pasta is pasta and spiralized veggies are spiralized veggies
But I like each and sometimes mixed.
I was thinking of buying the attachment from KA at around $99. I don't know if my hands could work the 'Veggeti" and I saw one by the blue jean chef but noticed it got a lot of low reviews.
Recently I flipped on HSN and saw a demo of thier Dash spiralizer then ordered and recieved it ($20?). I like that it has a handle on the side and a knob to spin--easier on my hands. It works pretty good and cleans easily.
I am a 'spiralizing' wild woman now. I had also purchased their electric peeler and use that for prep.
I find myself reaching for more veggies and fruits now that I do not have to use a hand peeler (many times accurate for me--I knicked my hands
) Sometime the spiral cut items are just better for some reason.

Thank you so much for your opinions and advice. I already like veggies, so I think this is something that I HAVE to have. LOL
Now I need to decide which one.
Thanks again!
