I didn't buy that oval pressure cooker. I'm surprised i didn't. Doesn't mean I won't at a later date. I don't need it now and I was able to resist.

@Sage04    anything that Cuisinart makes would be good. Wolfgang Puck at HSN would be good too. HSN has plenty of choices or check out Bed and Bath with 20% off coupon.

Re: Think somebody at one time

@SharkE : Still waiting for my delivery from UPS. The trip to the commissary wore me out. The only ribs available were the country ones and purchased 3 packs. No hams, turkeys or turkey breast. I purchased 3 roasts and my corned beef, and ground round hamburger meat. We found a few items not available in our area: the Goya ham flavor packets, and the McCormick low sodium gravy mix . His favorite brand of root beer and all his snacks. I had hoped that they had in stock the Hungarian Paprika. I purchase bags of potato, sweet onions, cabbage and carrots.

Last email indicating package to be delivered by 7 p.m.

Will post later.

A psi of 15 is the industry standard. I would never accept anything less. Any recipes you already have for pressure cooking will have to be adjusted. It cannot be used to do any canning. This is an easy pass for me

@SharkE : Package delivered. DH wasn't happy with the big heavy box and trying to bring it in the house. I am tired and unpack it tomorrow.

The box weight was 26 pounds. I had to turn the box upside down to remove the red part. The top lid is heavy. Compared to the first pc this one is somewhat shorter but deeper. So far the only thing that I didn't like- the top of the base unit has a clip plate on each side and the insert pot has tabs on each end. The insert pot must be rotated to clear the clip plate before lifting . I do like the sturdy black handle on the clear lid. I will be reading the two included booklets. Then I will wash everything .  Probably making chicken noodle soup since I have a bad cold.♥️🤗

Re: Think somebody at one time

I never mess with the gaskets I just wash under faucet and leave intact once you start taking them out they stretch out and won't fit in the lids any more. Just squirt some liquid dish soap around the inside rim and squish

about.
