There is a public group -- Vitamix Enthusiasts - Blender Lady where people talk about recipes, etc. and also what and what doesn't work for them.

This is not a new use, but I love,love,love whole wheat flour that I mill myself on demand. I keep my wheat berries in the freezer and I never have to worry about rancid flour. This is a big advance for those on gluten-free diets: if you have a Vitamix, you have the ability to mill just about any kind of flour you can think of. I too, love the soups-and every morning tarts off with a smoothie.
