You naysayers don't know how you'd enrich your lives if you bought the Temptations. I heard Mary Beth state with conviction that getting new dinnerware was the most wonderful thing that could happen to a woman. Do you agree?
I'm saving this for a "most outrageous things hosts say" thread.

We all like to eat a good meal. Sometimes it doesn't even involve dinnerware, sometimes it's just a prelude.

I must say eating a meal on beautiful dishes is a very pleasing experience, but I do not consider Temp-tations in that category. I think MBR will say any thing to move that dinner ware TSV.

I definitely wasn't tempted by the Temp-tations TSV. The patterns were far too busy for me. I really like to serve meals on a plain plate.
I have both the Corelle white dinnerware and also the Fiesta Ware in yellow. I find myself grabbing the Corelle when I set my table. I think food just looks more appealing when served on a white plate.
If I'm serving a dessert or just having a snack then I'll use the Fiesta.
In the beginning I bought a few pieces of Temp-tations but quickly lost interest.
Now if I'm interested in purchasing something new for the table I look at Fiesta Ware first.

i didnt buy the tsv because i have plenty of dish sets......and i am not a collector of the old world pattern.
i DO though enjoy the temptations line and have not found any fault with the quality or the customer service. there are pieces i do like, display, and use. i prefer a more modern look so that is why the old world is not a style i collect. there are a few pieces of the dragonfly that i have not picked up yet.
LOVED the pumpkin tureen and will probably get that. i also bought the figurines for the holidays.....all four in the shorter size.......and they are so cute! they are great for smaller areas or to place on shelves or to give as a hostess gift.
i dont care for fiesta or correlle. i had correlle pieces before and when they break, they really SHATTER.......just didnt want that happening again.

I love the colorful Fiestaware but they're so heavy, so I just have cups that go with my Dansk "Mesa White". I also got a set of Joy Mangano's Correlle and have enjoyed it. It's lightweight and I've dropped it a few times but nothing has broken.
However getting this dinnerware was not the best thing that ever happened to me. Far from it.
