Does anyone else agree with me that the wire racks included with the Temp-tations cookware are really an unnecessary item? How about lowering the price and eliminating the wire rack. Sure would be much easier to store the cookware without the racks, too.

Rarely do I use the rack with my Temp-tations. I usually just place the container on a nice hot mat. Racks take up too much table space, also.{#emotions_dlg.unsure}

{#emotions_dlg.lol} that's my #1 use for the racks too. I like not having to find a kitchen towel or trivet too. I put the rack out on the prep table of stove top when I put the dish in the oven so the rack is handy when its coming out

I have Temptations that I use daily. I have NEVER had any TT break, crack, or chip, and I believe the reason for this is that I ALWAYS use the wire racks. When taking things out of the oven my TT never get set on a cool counter, or liquid, or anything that may cause a temperature change that causes cracking.

IMHO, the racks are just as important as the bakeware.

I like the racks too, but storing them can be a challenge.

i use the racks for my temptations AND have used extras to make gift baskets or to use them in the bathrooms for hand towels.

I don't use mine ever, they're all in the basement taking up space. I use silicone trivets.

I agree 100%. I don't use them and they take up to much room.

That's what initially stopped me from buying them. All those racks would drive me crazy.

I don't need another thing to sit around taking up space either.

I like the wire racks, especially when serving company. I think they look cleaner and nicer than setting the dishes out on potholders or towels. I also like them for moving the hot dishes from one place to another. I agree, they are hard to store.
