cheeri: I like it when Lori Greiner 'cross promotes' Bare Minerals for her makeup organizer & Dooney for her purse organizers. Not many vendors do that. Don't know how L&L could fit in to a TT presentation, but like june1 said, it wouldn't surprise me if L&L manufactured it for TT.

sidsmom, I too, have noticed the 'cross promoting' on QVC in recent years. In addition to what you have mentioned. L&L and TT both use/mention KitchenAid mixers in their presentations, some of the cleaning products (Scrub Daddy for one) will use TT pieces, and CE pieces in the presentations, etc. I like to see one vendor supporting another, and I'm seeing it more all the time.

And when these TT containers came out, people questioned if Lock and Lock manufactured them and it was posted on FB that they were not (by Lisa I believe) and they do lock differently than L&L.

I will say that these TT containers are every bit as good as the new Lock and Lock. New L&L aren't nearly the quality they were in the beginning, and I'm so sorry I didn't buy much more years ago (although I do have quite a bit from back then).

First Polish stoneware, now L & L. Doesn't Tara have an original idea? Smile

I've noticed a lot of cross-promoting too. In one way I'm surprised that QVC went along with TT selling such a similar container to the L n L. Of course as long as they sell, that is more profit for QVC. I will stick with L n L but probably won't buy much more. I have a lot of sets now. (They seem to promote TT more than many of their lines.)

I wish QVC would carry Fiestaware instead. Sometimes I think Tara must somehow be related to someone at the Q, maybe that's why there's so much of it on.

Just a feeling I get, but I've always thought that DV was financially involved with TempTations and/or that QVC actually owns the brand now. So far I've see nothing to change my mind.

And although I have sworn off watching for the time being, I completely agree - I would love to see them offer Fiestaware. If and when I buy dishes again, I definitely plan to get some Fiestaware. Right now, I am using only white Mikasa English Countryside, which I love. Food always looks best on white china. But for breakfast dishes and snack time I would enjoy some pieces of Fiestaware.

I saw the presentation today. Could it be TT has partnered with L&L to make these? Companies do this all the time.

See post #10, they are not made by Lock and Lock.

QVC is not supporting her company, they are supporting their company its a QVC brand just like Cook's Essentials Bob Warden was the spokesperson for them just like Tara is for Temptations.

LOL, do people really think there's an original idea anymore? Prepology pretty much copies everything and calls it their own, big deal. That anyone would be offended by this is silly at best.

While not a fiesta fan, why would they want to sell here when they are already profitable and well known enough?

Two comments - my Temptations are doing just fine.

As for ripping off LnL - I returned the only set I ever ordered, so I certainly can't say much for that company.

As for Temptations ripping them off - you can buy LnL type containers a gazillion places from a gazillion companies. None of the pieces in my pantry are from LnL and I have no idea who ripped off whom or if anyone did.

Can't think of a reason to care. That's for the corporate lawyers to determine.

I thing you probably are overly sensitive. Snapware makes some glass containers with the dame type of lid. I find them superior for storing things in the fridge that you will later microwave. If you use plastic containers they always bubble and burn.
