I'm sure some of you are familiar with Tate's cookies, they are delicious. I was scrolling around the Net this morning and found Tate's website. Actually it was the picture of their chocolate chip pie that stopped me in my tracks. I didn't know that they did anything except cookies. That pie looked delicious and there was a Labor Day code, so I figured it would be nice for the holiday weekend. It is supposed to arrive in 2 days ( It has already been shippped according to my e mail) we'll see. Anyway if it's good I'll come back with a review.

I'm not a big fan of Tate's only because I prefer thick, soft cookies.  My favorite is the Pepperidge Farms Captiva ones which are chocolate with chocolate chips.  PF makes both styles, crisp and soft.

I have tried their gluten free cookies.  They're pretty good.

I can get them locally in the grocery stores, but I haven't had any for a while.

That pie sounds delicious.

@QVCkitty1, thanks for the info. As much as that pie looks good, I think the sour cream coffee cake looks even better. Very tempting.

I absolutely LOVE Tate's cookies! My grocery store sells them all the time, just the different kinds are very limited. They're my favorite cookie. I'm not a fan of soft cookies and these have just the right amount of crisp. I saw an ad on Facebook for their pies. Guessing they won't make it down here but I'll be happy with their yummy cookies. Please review your pie after trying it.

I love Tates cookies...they are so buttery and good.  But they are very expensive in our grocery stores.   I'm going to have to check out the website.

If you have a target nearby, they have them on sale frequently.  They are the perfect texture for me.

Tate's Used to be Really Exceptional crispy cookies.  They are still OK but pale in comaprison to how they used to be before Tate's was sold to an International company in 2018.

There are other thin crispy chocolate chip cookies out there that are just as good as Tate's is now.
