Cutie, I bought the 5 quart Artisan mixer years ago and within the last couple years gifted my 2 granddaughters and my daughter right from qvc. They love it. Best gift ever for them. HTH?? Addie 😉

Note Kitchen Aid has come out with a NEW Bowl LIft model....Maybe it's what Q will offer in the TSV. I hope so and NOT the old obsolete model that had a TON of problems with bowl adjustment and power.
Here read this!!!
BENTON HARBOR, Mich., Oct. 12, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, KitchenAid introduces the redesigned Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer. The new model will make you rethink what a Stand Mixer can do — giving makers more possibilities to make the everyday extraordinary in the kitchen.
Designed for folding, the new 1/2 speed gently adds delicate ingredients, like blueberries and egg whites, into recipes without overbeating. Additionally, the new double-sided, flex edge beater increases contact with the bowl and reduces the need to stop and manually scrape stray ingredients clinging to the sides2.
"Our newly redesigned 7 Qt Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer will now have improved features, from more power to new ½ speed for folding, allowing makers to level up their everyday recipes." said Dan Valenti, Vice President & General Manager, KitchenAid Small Appliances. "From big batches of cookies to meal prepping for a week with over 2 lbs of shredded chicken3, we can't wait to see what you create with the Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer."
The KitchenAid Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer is designed to combine form and function to take it all on. Whether you're cooking for a crowd or with lots of ingredients, this mixer makes it easy with its power and large capacity. It's versatile enough for nearly any task or recipe, whether you're stirring wet and dry ingredients together, kneading bread dough or whipping cream.
The redesigned 7 Qt Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer is available for purchase on KitchenAid.com for MSRP $649.99.

It looks like the motor power is 500 on the 7 quart and 575 on the 6 quart. I wonder why they went down on a larger size?

I own this 6 Qt. Kitchenaid mixer and it's a real workhorse, especially with stiff cookie doughs!
The only drawback is that it's really heavy!
I suggest you find a spot for it, where you don't have to move it:
KitchenAid Pro 600 6-qt Bowl Lift Stand Mixer with Flex Edge - QVC.com
This one is on sale with reduced S&H, mine is also the bowl lift.
Happy hunting!
And.....

Maybe the 6 quart had TOO MUCH power for it's size and use....I don't have one now....maybe someone here who has the 6 quart Bowl Lift can tell us it they ever use it on the highest speed setting?
I do know that the review of the 6 qt bowl lift were NOT good....even here on this site, where they bury the reviews of QVC purchasers in with the nationally collected reviews.
I always look ( on this site) at the most recent reviews, going back a few years, because most ( not all) of them are purchasers and reviewers from HERE.
And of course, immediately toss reviews that start with "My Mom had one fifty years ago so this one must be good......" or those that praise quick shipping!!!!
Anyway....maybe it'll be a good deal, with extras like folks mentioned.
As long as it can develop the torque necessary to knead dough, it doesn't necessarily have to be MORE wattage.
The main complaints I"ve read about the Bowl LIft mixers is you can not adequately adjust the bowl with that screw adjustment so the beater actually touches the bottom of the bowl.
That and the difficulty of getting that bowl on and off the arms.
I had a Bowl Lift 6 quart about 20 years ago....what failed was the bowl lifting mechanism in the stand part of the mixer ( where the bowl lift handle is). It became inoperable, and when I went to repair it ( using You Tube, of course) I found that most of those parts are plastic or nylon and they just wore out or seized. I could no longer get the bowl to lift. I tossed the mixer...I didn't use it enough either to fool with it....
Lesson learned....20 years ago they were already using NON-metallic parts.
I was disappointed because they ALWAYS use "it's all metal construction" as the hype selling point.*
* Now I WILL say that just because the parts DO have plastic, nylon or kevlar components, that in itself is not necessarity a flaw...they could be used in the gears for instance, so they fail FIRST before the whole thing goes kaput.
Just a note....You Tube has fantastic videos on how to grease the motor or repair these mixers. It's not hard. After all....ANYTHING that is put together by a person can be taken apart...with the right tools. And as far as I have seen, you probably have the right tools at home right now!!
I'm not afraid to attempt any repair( except electrical) after watching You Tube.
If something's broken and I can't fix it, then time to call for professional. But they had to learn somewhere too!!!
