I got the chili red, it's en route, not far from here, so maybe it will be here Monday.  Unfortunately, the cookbook has yet to ship, but I'm going to look around online to see if anything looks inspiring, chicken is always good Smiley Happy

I hope you will let us know how you like it after you've taken it out for a spin.

The first thing my daughter said when she saw it was, "Mom, where are you going to put it?"  LOL, I asked myself the same thing.  I suggested she help me clean out the pots and pans cupboard, maybe this weekend.  It's a big cupboard, so there must be something in there that's not used all that often... I hope.

I recently found an older version of the West Bend electric skillet at Goodwill.  It looks as if it has never been used.  I had one like it years ago.  I snatched it up for $ 4.00 I think.  I love using it for pancakes and fried chicken.  It is the deeper version so it works great for frying in oil.

I cleared out a bunch of small electrics that have been replaced by the "new and improved' stuff and gave to the poor.
