Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

Sorry, Shoekitty, I looked at Dillard's and at Bergner's, and neither one is preordering. Maybe Meezer or 3d will know.

How is your skin problem? Are you feeling better? I sure hope so.

Thank you to 3d's code and meezer's info about the present casserole being discontinued, I ordered another casserole dish in sunflower. Since it will soon be only me, I thought the smaller casserole would be sufficient and I would not use the larger casserole as much. Someone on the fashion talk also gave the free shipping code, so I got the casserole and two tablecloths for $60. Pretty good bargain, in my opinion..

Take care, everyone.

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

Shoekitty -- I don't know of any of the stores where you can use Mr. Rebates. It looks like BB&B won't be delivering until July 1. I don't see where Macy's or Kohl's are even taking pre-orders. If you really want to use Mr. Rebates, I would think it would be better if you waited until the various stores had the new Fiesta on their sites and then order. The items should then be delivered within a week or so.

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

One of our stops yesterday was Macy's. I was so excited to get there to see the new Fiesta colors in person. Well that didn't happen. They didn't have them. I was so disappointed. I was all set to play with everything. However, I did not they had one of their new exclusives that is on their site, but with no description yet.

I guess it is a salad bowl? It was not listed on the signage as to what it is. It did have a price of $100. All Fiesta was 33% off. I was so good though and did not purchase one thing. I have too much on pre-order (LOL).

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

Hello All!

I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I'll be buying any of the new colors. I've very fond of my "happy" sunshine colors, (plus plum), and don't know if I want anything so dark. I think I need to see more of the pieces in person than the small selection I saw at a local shop. Besides, I have run out of room for what I already have!

Ocean: sounds like you had a nice mini-vacation. You discovered my favorite local Fiesta supplier: the Colors store in Tacoma! They have such a large variety of pieces. Their prices aren't the best but their service is wonderful and if you are in "the Club", after you spend $100 your next purchase, you get a percentage off of all of it. Its a nice perk especially since its not hard to spend $100!

Divine: I'm so sorry about your Fiesta calamity! I live in fear of this happening to me because I have 1 regular cupboard that stores all the dishes I can fit in. I really need to get my act together and get something to store all the pieces I don't currently have room for, plus take some weight out of that one cupboard.

Shoekitty: I'm glad you are healing from the rash. I totally emphasize because I've had that darn thing twice: once while in college and once in my mid-twenties. Its a horrible thing and so itchy!! The second time I got it my doctor said that in her 40 years of practicing medicine, she never saw anyone that had gotten it more than once. Lucky me! But then I have an abnormal immune system so its not that surprising.

Meezer: I love the photos of the tables with mozaic tops that you posted. I'm hoping to do something similar with the pieces I saved from my HL order that was packed poorly. And thanks for the warning about the covered cassarole retirement. I think I will get a second one since it sounds like the larger one is what will be available going forward.

Wismiss: I hope your back treatment is successful and relieves you of the pain you experience.

Surprise: I'm glad you gave us an update and that things are looking up for you.

To anyone I missed...I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I would be enjoying it but I'm fuming from dealing with some jerky neighbors. This isn't a new situation and since they sold their house recently, I'll only have to deal with them for a few more weeks. I lost my patience with them awhile back and just pray the new people are more considerate. (As in no beer-pong until 3:00am on nice summer weekends!)

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

So Ladies, How do you like this post from Homer Laughlin on FB today?

"We were mistaken. Both casseroles will be available. We will post an updated discontinued list next week."

This is just crazy. If any of you ordered the smaller casserole just because it was discontinued, I hope that you can cancel if you want to. I look forward, as I know all of you do, to seeing the new updated list of discontinued items.{#emotions_dlg.crying}

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

Meezer -- it is nuts! I talked myself out of purchasing another smaller one - and believe me, it wasn't easy. Now it is not being retired! I was wondering why they would do that to their customers. I would be a lot of people don't want the larger one. I think it is gorgeous, but it is large.

I hope anyone who doesn't want to go through the trouble of returning the smaller one at least got a good deal.

I must not be checking the correct site on FB. I always go to:

Is there another one? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

3d--that is the same Fiesta FB page that I use. You can see my dialog with HL by looking for "Posts to Page" on the left hand column. It is a way down. Click on the arrow on the right and that section will open. You will have to click on the bottom of each section as you scroll down "see more stories". You should see the charming Siamese cat whose name is "Mia Del Gatto". That is my FB name and Mia was my very first meezer. You will be able to read my entire conversation with HL and it is short.

Hopefully, they will publish this new list soon. I would like a chance to buy or at least think about buying any discontinued pieces that I might want. At least you will have the discontinued list when you go to HL. Things will more available than online, I would think.

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

Meezer -- thank you! I would have never found it. I guess at some point I should learn a little about FB because I don't think it is going away anytime soon or at least until another genius shows up. It amazes me how someone can dream all this technology up and then get it to work.

I love your first meezer's name. How adorable!

It is going to be interesting to see the list when it finally comes out. Thanks again for your help.
