kochblume silicone measuring cups

I bought these because my husband doesn't like the kind with the angled measures that you look down into, and I didn't want glass. I have a question - maybe it's just me. I filled the largest one with water and when I went to pick it up, in order to hold it tightly enough to grip it, it squeezed together and squished water out the top. I tried to lift it holding the bottom where it's a bit rigid, but just couldn't lift it when it was full with one hand. It didn't look like the presenter had any trouble. Is there a trick? Thanks for any ideas.

Use the OXO brand from Bed & Bath. They don't do that

Never heard of this brand. don't like the colors either to hard to read.

That sounds like one dumb application for the use of floppy silicone. I'd tell hubby to take his measuring cups to the garage.

I have that set. I just filled my large one to the top and didn't have a problem. I picked it up from the bottom area. Maybe that only happens if you pinch and squeeze right at the top. I love this product.

own this set in the red and used the biggest this morning just for you @Catstamper . i was making belgian waffles and needed to measure out the milk. no issues for me and this is filled up to the 4 cup line.

i can easily hold it at the top, at the bottom, or in the middle with no issues of it spilling out.
