Dinnerware USA has 15% off on all Fiesta. They had a picture of slate and sage and in small letters is said "Sage is a limited edition color and will only be available in certain items." So, if you like sage, I'm wondering how long it will be available.

Wismiss--I have looked all over the dinnerware usa site. I don't see anything about 15% off or the message about sage being a limited edition color. Was that on FB or did they send you an e-mail?

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

3D--that's great service from the seller on the shipping! I hope you and Wismiss love your new teaspoons.

Ocean--is the order "out for delivery???"

Meezer--I agree about being careful with Ebay sellers and reading descriptions carefully. I really have no problem with resellers going to HL and finding stuff to sell. They are providing people like me another source!! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup} Of course, as with anything on Ebay it's buyer beware. I just check sellers feedback and honestly I don't buy expensive things that I can't see before bidding.

And you are SO RIGHT about some "firsts" that I have bought from retail. I have a scarlet mug with black dots under the glaze that annoys the heck out of me. I ordered it online and I don't want the expense of return shipping...so I just put it to the back of the shelf and let it be. I would never have bought that mug in a store where I could have looked it over before buying. I have also bought several other pieces (such as the famous rocking bread trays) that thankfully I did get replaced.

Shoekitty--the kittens are adorable! I think you need 4 or 5 of them!!

Have a great day, everyone!

Sarah, I'll bring little egg shaped apple muffins to our bench!

Oh, I almost forgot... in a moment of weakness (and a Kohl's 30% coupon), I bought the deviled egg tray. {#emotions_dlg.blush} It should be here in a few days, so I'll be needing that muffin recipe, little missy!!

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

Meezer/Wismiss -- I don't want to butt in; however, I received an email from DinnerwareUSA. I don't see it shown anywhere on their site either. The promo code is:

PROMO CODE FOR 15% OFF: 4C49DEF2-83-2222

Free Regular Shipping for $150 in purchases (no promo code needed)

Meezer -- you sound like me checking out the eBay sellers. If the seller doesn't have 100%, I then go to the comments to see if any negativity was warranted. I have seen where the buyer sounds like a jerk and the seller's rebuttal sounds fair, so I don't hold it against the seller.

I got some beautiful pieces at the HL outlet. I am again talking it up for a trip this year after we visit my dad. I want to make sure it is after the new colors are on the market.

Sarah, I love that "out for delivery" customer!!! haha!

Oh, you will love the egg tray! It is just so cute, and it does double duty as an adorable baking piece. What color did you get?

Oh, I will be happy to share the two recipes I have used. The blueberry muffins and the apple/yogurt muffins.

3d, it would be so fun if you could stop at the outlet on your trip! You are right though, you have to plan this so you can shop for the new colors.

My pkg is unpacked and everything is perfect and beeeee-utiful! They are in the dishwasher!

3d, snow on Saturday? Brrr. It is cloudy here today. It was nice to have sunny skies yesterday for my pictures.

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

Hi! I recently became a Fiesta ware owner (new stock.)

I am a long time Stangl collector and even had a very large set that I used for everyday. Stangl was a pottery in New Jersey that produced many different patterns in dinnerware. After many years of using the full set that I had, I tested them for lead, and they came up very positive. At that point, I decided I had to get rid of them, b/c I don't want to be exposing myself and others to lead poisoning.

My question is: Are you using old Fiesta ware as your everyday ware? I know the new ones say they are lead free, but are the older plates also lead free?

Thanks for any info you can give me!

Re: Still Buying Fiestaware (aka Fiestaware thread, Part 2)

Fiesta ladies--Marigold Alert!!!

HL just put up that they have a lot of Marigold for sale through the store online. Bought myself a boatload. DH was sitting next to me saying things like, "don't you need that?" "we don't have one of those", "what about this?" and so on.

Included are a lot of the store exclusives such as rice bowls, both sizes, Latte mug, pasta bowl and so on. They must be clearing out the warehouse again to make way for the new colors. Wismiss' inspection team must go and see if we can find Juniper pieces, too.

Sarah--I think that you were looking for some Marigold. Get it now!
