It has nothing to do with the moderators liking or disliking Penzey's. It has to do with the board's clearly-defined rules which we all agreed to in order to participate here.

Penzey's is a great company, and I buy almost all of my spices there -- both online and at their local store; however, it is inappropriate to use one retailer's esources to encourage sales at another retailer.

And ironically, there are entire posts on these forums of other shopping channels products..Skinn, Joy Mangano, Wolfgang Puck, to name a few, that directly compete with QVC, and yet are allowed to stay

I know that most of Penzey's spices are gluten free...prepared in a gluten free facility..except their soup,bases...

@Mothertrucker It's certainly not like the q has cornered the market on selling spices here b/c they don't in either - cornered or sell. And we've talked about P's spices here in the past so I don't understand the big deal. We all love spices and have shared a lot in the 'recipe corner' here with meals we cook, spices we use.

Anyway, there's a P's store about 10 minutes from where I live, so lucky to have one.

You can always find their coupons on RetailMeNot. It says free 1/2 cup jar of air dried shallots You also get 1/4 cup minced garlic with that coupon. If you sign up on their site you will receive their emails with coupons free shipping on $20 etc.

We can post there's a deal at ??? retailers we just cannot add a code or link to it but you can say where you can find it like FB, RetailMeNot, Ebates, etc.
