My Dad was a pilot and lived in North Africa for a year during WWII. I think for that entire year they lived on Spam.

So as long as I could remember, my parents had a running joke that anytime my Mom wanted a divorce, she could bring a can of Spam into the house and he would give her a divorce no questions asked,

As a kid I never had Spam and I never have tried it since. But I have seen commercials for it and it looks tasty. And I noticed that Sam's Club has had it lately so someone must buy it.

I am tempted to try it. Since it was "forbidden food" growing up.

Not a fan. There are lots of things I'm missing, Spam is not among them.

Afraid I don't wax nostalgic for Spam. My mother would fry it and serve it with instant mashed potatoes and canned green beans. My earliest memories of heartburn date from those meals. I need Gaviscon just thinking about them.

Love my Spam. I keep a can or two in the pantry. I wear my Spam denim shirt with pride.

I've even visited the Spam museum. They had flavors I'd never seen, it was an enjoyable trip.

We consider it a sad day if our pantry is down to just one can of Spam!

I grate it and add chopped onions, pickles and mayo for a sandwich filling.   Fried as a breakfast meat, or for sandwiches.   My whole family likes Spam skillet; cubed Spam, fried potatoes, onions and peppers, with melted Colby jack cheese on top.

We don't eat Spam every day, every week, or maybe not every month, but we do like it, and it’s always in this house.

I like Spam, with scrmabled eggs, or as sandwich meat, or cut up with friend potatoes. My store was almost out so  I got one can regular and one can turkey. Others must like it as it was msotly gone.

I haven't had Spam for a long time.   I do like it though.  What does it cost nowadays?
