I would have found the tablecloth still in the dryer. And hear the words "Oh, I forgot".

I do not like to generalize behaviors but men just are not detailed oriented!  Sometimes my SO gets annoyed at how I talk louder (he calls it yelling) when I explain things so  I got a tee shirt that says "You call it yelling but I call it motivational speaking for the selective listener"

Omg! That is us!  To make matters worse, I'm from a large Italian-American family and yelling is our normal speaking voice.  I can't tell you how many times he's told me to stop yelling, which honestly only makes me get louder.

I'm laughing that I'm not the only one who experiences this level of helpfulness  . . . 

Who knew it was male interpretation?  Not sure I'm buying it but still the laugh helps when those minimal efforts don't.
