no, I am closer to Pasadena- I think the Wig Wam on the way to (or in )San Bernardino.. used to be the middle of nowhere...now the middle of nowhere is all tract homes and shopping malls....

Re: Share Please - Route 66 Menu

Hey for the party.. I bought my sweetie a cool Route 66 Hawaiian shirt on Amazon last year, and I got a cool long sleeve T that is "route 66" from a catalog.. might have been "Potpourri"

Don't know if you need "costumes" but just a thought...

I looked it up (see above). Yes, it's a little further from you, San Bernadino. Sure not in the middle of nowhere anymore, ha, ha, but glad it's still hangin' in there.

Thanks. Yes, we are encouraged to dress with the theme in mind.

Coke or root beer float; pie--apple, cherry, coconut cream or pecan; hot rolls with butter; jello salad; hamburgers and hot dogs; chocolate sheet cake (Texas sheet cake); canned corn; at least from the Oklahoma section that's what you would have seen. Oh, and for breakfast biscuits and gravy!

I am fairly certain that Route 66 never went through Hawaii.

I was born in Pasadena and my parents were raised there. Lots of wonderful memories of all the Rose Parades, etc. When I was in third grade we moved to Orange County so I grew up there.

What a fun party! I used to live in Flagstaff.
