@tl98466. Sheesh, MYOB. I didn't say a word about her opinion, it's fine with me. Now go snark on someone else.

People are obese or overweight because they eat too much of the wrong thing and/or don't move enough. The term "couch potato" came into common useage for a reason. (This, of course, excludes anyone with a true medical condition.)
I don't think QVC can be blamed for the widespread obesity problem in the U.S. That fault lies with the person who chooses to eat too much of these items and doesn't have a balanced diet.
Well, I'm just off to order some scones! (Hahn Bakery: 9 for $32, but I have a 20% off coupon!)
Hardly blaming Q for America's obesity problem.I'm saying their food ingredients are found in lots of American processed food which is wreaking havoc w many Americans' health.

I purchase many food items. Yes, some have sugar and some have salt. We are careful what we eat. If we choose an item to eat we make sure the rest of the day has less sugar or less salt depending on what we eat.
I am in no way considered overweight. I weigh 123 lbs at almost 5'4". I work out 6 days a week. I have yearly check ups with extensive tests every December. My numbers are considered textbook perfect.
We have choices, it's okay to splurge occasionally. This is what we do with the QVC items. Again, I find your comment extremely offensive to myself, as well as QVC in general.
What are you so ticked about? And no need for you to post your health and diet info.
Fact: Q food is processed food loaded w fat, sugar and sodium.
Fact: The vast majority of Americans eat too much processed food loaded
with fat, sugar and sodium.
Fact: A large majority of Americans are quite overweight or obese.
I wouldn't say ticked just accurate. @cjm61

taking a guess here that very few shop via GOLDBELLY.
not even sure why anyone else cares about what people order via QVC or why? obviously the "Q" or the "C" in qvc mean something to customers.

I shop Goldbelly frequently. In fact just received an order last week.
One thing I like about Goldbelly, and yes their prices have also increased quite a bit, but they often have sales. Sometimes they're specific to regional items, or for specific categories of foods, or geared to sporting events. Few weeks ago there were sales on lobster rolls. Several venders featured. Recently a sale on their popular pizza brands, another on cheesesteaks. I watch for sales and often send things to loved ones.
Another thing they do is often feature fundraisers for charities that receive profits from the sales. For one day last week several Jewish restaurants, delis, bakeries were featured for that days sales going towards relief agencies.
I also like to send items from QVC to loved ones. I find much very comparable. I always compare a vendor's own site, Goldbelly, and Amazon with QVC.
And when it comes to talk of processed food...well just walk down almost every aisle in the grocery store, to include the bread aisle and the fresh meat counter.

Goldbelly at least offers food that you normally can't get. If you want bagels, they will usually be not kettle boiled. Kettle boiling makes bagels a great deal better tasting, but it shortens the shelf life. Goldbelly (and QVC) offers bagels that are kettle boiled. A lot of people don't live near good bagels shops. So with some foods, it's an advantage. Bagels are the good things I've gotten so far from Goldbelly. But they have a ton of very good food.
