I learned that in 2018 80% was bought out by a south Korean company, some food ingredients comes from china, this is concerning to me.

I'm not sure I understand the reason this was posted. That Schwan sold? To a Korean outfit? Food from China?
China did send us the genome for us to get the vaccine faster. Everyone has been working on the coronavirus vaccine since 2003 SARS outbreak, this genome was the roadmap that allowed us to get it to market fast for COVID-19.

it does not concern me at all.
schwans is an excellent company with excellent customer service.
i get products every two weeks delivered right to my door and everything is 100% guaranteed money back. i have been using this company for almost 30 years now.....even every time i have moved i set up my schwans delivery for my new home.
"In February 2019, the company announced it had completed the sale of 80% of the privately-held company's stock to CJ CheilJedang of South Korea, effectively ending the Schwan family's control of the company. Schwan's will operate as a subsidiary of CJ, but the family will continue to control 100% of the operations of the Schwan's Home Delivery Service."

Maybe, it's safer to eat dog and cat food from The Honest Kitchen.
It puts on all their products, “we make ALL of our cat and dog foods without ingredients from China – nothing, zip, nada!”

They eat dogs in Korea.
I have never bought from them and sure don't intend to start now! And for most of us it is easy to get groceries delivered now and have a great range of choices.

I don't make sweeping judgement for any food supplier, if I did I would never eat fresh salads and spinach from the US and I do every week. Here are the latest USDA Alerts:
Bagged Salads, Cyclospora, and Red Onions Salmonella.

Did they used to use items from China? Do they actually do so now?
Need a few more facts.
My mom used them, but they always seems over processed to me.

I buy many food items from China, especially asian ingredients. I have absolutely no qualms about it.
