Oh @house cat, so sad to hear the news- I remember that they moved out here to be closer to you- How wonderful that they were able to be near you till the end...

My own parents passed within a month of each other..I know how tough it can be-

Lolakimono....thank you for updating me.....missed that one.  Oh, house_cat......so very sorry for a sad year of loss for you.  I did not know your father had also passed away.  With deepest sympathy,  I send you hugs too!
