I wouldn't ever even consider buying ceramic dishes for my everyday dinnerware. They would chip and break so easily. I have only ever owned Corelle - I find them to be far superior for endurance, and yet much less expensive. 6 years ago when we moved to Fl. I decided to buy a new set of dishes and , of course, went with Corelle in a black/white pattern so I chose some TT pieces in the old daisy pattern in black & white to go with them. They are very cute and I will say i use them more for serving than baking but mine have held up well.I have a few other TT pieces that don't get used a lot but those daisy dishes are used daily and put in the DW, as is my seashell set, as that is my only salad bowl so it gets used a lot.

I've been using Corelle since '72.  Still have my first set (gold butterfly pattern).  Recently purchased a second set, the other is in storage.  Love Corelle!

I have two sets of plain white Corelle, with several serving pieces and a variety of bowls that I purchased separately.  I have settings for eight people.  I've given away everything else I've purchased over the years, including my wedding china.  I love my Corelle, but I wanted something to perk it up a little.

I like my Temptations bakeware but I don't like stoneware for dishes. They heat up too much in the microwave. I have a bunch of porcelain china anyway.

I love the look of alternating "boring white" with another color/pattern. The floral lace light blue would be very pretty with that setting.
