Re: Recipe Conversion from Vitamix to Blendtec

First thing I would do is make the peanut butter in the blendtec using the standard blendtec peanut butter recipe. After that is done add the ingredients and process using the increase speed button and when you get the consistency you want stop. It really is simple,, no conversion necessary thank the Lord.

I believe you need the Twister jar or mini-Twister jar to make peanut butter with a Blendtec. I don't know if you got either one of those with your blender, I know I didn't. You can go to Blendtec.com, go to SHOP, & look under Jars in Categories.

Yes the twister jar didn't come with the Blendtec and I have seen many comments on their site that say they have tried it without and it isn't the same. I am still considering the personal Vitamix or even a reconditioned model and finding a new home for the Blendtec. Thank you both for replying

No you do not NEED a twister jar and that is why I said to make peanut butter in the blendtec using the standard recipe. If you have questions call Blendtec and they can help or simply search online text and videos for the process.
