Rastelli Sirloin steaks...TSV

  • Has anyone tried these? They have mixed reviews. SInce they are 6 oz. I thought they could be cut in half to make 20 3oz. steaks instead of 10. That's only about $3.50 a steak. Any thoughts?

Not a fan of sirloin. A better value would be flat iron. Our local supermarket sells Certified Angus flat iron steaks for $5.49 a pound. If you are going for the ultimate grilling experience, use Angus ribeyes.

I have ordered Rastelli steaks in the past and was very pleased. They were very tender and delicious. I am considering ordering the TSV today. I don't eat red meat often, but when I do, I want a steak. If I do order, I will be cutting them in half as well, as I eat a large salad for dinner, so three ounces of meat is plenty.

I have not tried, but some of the reviews are not very good.

Curious though.  I will probably pass as well.

I have not tried them. But I think I will get the TSV. Will be a nice change of pace - quick and easy too.

I have never tried Rastelli steaks. I do like Top Sirloin. Dad used to make it when we were kids. Only steak we could afford with 7 kids. If I'm going to eat a steak I want a Filet Mignon or Ribeye. I used to eat a lot of ribeye but have switched to filet since it does not have the fat like a ribeye.

I haven't bought any food from QVC for a few years.  I also ordered the TSV.  I like that they are packaged individually.  I thought there had been good reviews/comments made about them.  Mine already shipped so I will be giving them a try.

I ordered TSV yesterday via email promo--ordered Original, no Teriyaki or Garlic rub, too much sodium; Original comes with a packet of seasoning. Of course you could cut this for 2 meal portions!  I prefer steak plain and will season with cracked pepper, onion, pepper and/or mushroom, no salt. Have tried different Rastelli meats, steakburgers and have been satisfied with all.  I do not eat much red meat but when I do, it is a Rastelli; much better than what is available locally.

6 oz steak a bit small.   Most nice center-cut filet mignon are 8 oz.
