@momtochloe  Yes, we do have an Aldi not too far away and I have been wanting to go there for a couple of years now, but never made it.

Re: Rastelli Pork Ribeye Steaks

For burgers I loved Kansas City's 'bbq cheddar' variety and, even though I'm on AD for this item, they don't seem to have that variety anymore.  Smiley Sad   Don't even know if I'll get my next AD but have a feeling I might not.    Good thing I still have a ton of them so will continue to ration.  I'm strange that way - I will make something last and deny myself it more often so I don't run out.  But I know I have a whole box plus more.

I used to get the KC bacon cheddar ones and one day they were out of those and I was up to get some, while they were on a promo, and saw 'bbq cheddar' for the first time.   Sounded fine by me and omg, they are much better than the bacon cheddar.   For a whole meal I will just put one of these (grilled in my contact grill and a little seasoning from their seasoning packet) on a bed of brown rice or veg.

Re: Rastelli Pork Ribeye Steaks

I checked the KC flyer received the other day -- the only burger patties offered that are flavored are Cheddar Bacon and Vidalia Onion.

I'd love to try the Kobe style patties but they are ridiculously expensive, 64.90 for 6 unless you place a large order min. $55.95 then they'll add them on for 44.95.  Other options are sirloin, chuck, prime and classic.

I've been buying the long sleeve of patties at Costco.  The drawback is they are not individually frozen although I could do that.  We manage to use them before they freezer burn. They're very lean and cook up nice on the Philips smokeless grill.

I bought Rastelli steaks from QVC.  No flavor and kind of an odd taste.  Would not order again.  JMO

Re: Rastelli Pork Ribeye Steaks

@chickenbutt  Even though I was very disappointed in the burgers from Rastelli, I went ahead and ordered these pork chops today.   I love pork chops and I can get incredibly good ones here, $5.00/chop for something a lot of people love, is pretty good.

I went on auto delivery, but know I can cancel if I don't like them.

Thanks for your suggesting these.

Re: Rastelli Pork Ribeye Steaks

I made the Rastelli pork chops tonight -- soooo good and tender beyond my expectation.  I dipped them in egg then cracker meal and pan fried them.

Next time I'll cut some calories and air fry them.  For this first time I wanted to give them the old tried and true method.

With these available, there's no reason to buy any kind of pork chop at the store, they won't be this delicious.

Hi Free!  Nice to see ya.   I'm so glad you enjoyed these.    I just noticed, for the first time, on Sunday morning's presentation that they breaded them.    I've not tried that and probably should.   Smiley Happy

I think I may have mentioned the other day that every time I eat one I absolutely must have one the next day!    I need to wise up and just thaw out two at a time.  Smiley Very Happy

Hope you have a happy day!

I sure hope you like them!   They are actually a ribeye cut, so even more than a pork chop.

I always get scared when I recommend something and then either the quality goes down or others just don't like what I like.  But I felt that these were so special.    This is the first product I have tried from this company.

I agree about the price.  For me, this is a whole meal.  If I make a starch or a veg with it, it's two meals for me.  For less than $5, I consider that a deal especially for the lovely quality.  Smiley Happy
