Well, it wouldn't be the Q Board if somebody didn't come along to tell everybody how horrible they are for discussing or expressing their opinions about somebody in the public realm.

First time I put anybody on ignore in a long time here. It gets tedious.

I have to laugh because they are criticizing people for criticizing people. They never seem to take notice of this little fact!!! LOL!!!!!

It's not criticizing but calling the haters out on their bashing. Some will never get it. No one has to like everyone but just say you don't care for her and don't get nasty about it!! That's the issue.

Since there are two Rachel bashing threads going right now (one is actually on the FASHION FORUM-what's with that?), I'm posting the same thing on both. Then I'm posting the same thing on the one from someone who LOVES Rachel Ray:

I have to put in my two cents worth on this...first of all, why are people talking about Rachel Ray's cookware on a Fashion Forum??? Secondly, I have watched her since she first started on the Food Network with her 30-Minute Meal shows, and since she came to QVC with her products. I saw some of this yesterday, but I just went back and watched some of the videos, and I certainly don't see anything wrong with the way she behaved. It's okay for Susan Graver to be "passionate" about her clothing (since this IS a fashion forum), never take a breath, talk constantly over the hosts, interrupt them, the hosts can't even tell the colors without her talking so I can't hear them, etc. etc.?? That's okay for a lot of people - she's just proud of her product and PASSIONATE! Well, so is Rachel Ray. She does have a voice problem, which I would much rather hear than SG's, and which she can't help--so shame on those of you who put her down for that. She has worked extremely hard, and still does, to get where she is. I've watched her daily talk show, and she is delightful. I did not see any "rolling of the eyes" on David's part (I think he's too professional to do that even if he did feel like it, and I didn't get that vibe at all). Rachel does not talk constantly, and yes, in most of QVC's shows, hosts and vendors interrupt each other from time to time - that's normal. I have Temptations, and all 5 of the bakeware pieces I bought have crazed and cracked so I can't use them - one of them did that just sitting in my cabinet-I had never even used it! Way too late to send them back, but you can bet I would never buy another piece. I will, however, buy Rachel's, and she has every right to be proud of them, and proud of herself. There, I've said my piece!!{#emotions_dlg.sneaky}

Is there anybody out there that people on this forum like?? There isn't a day that goes by that people around here don't throw stones at some host or vendor. I guess this forum has the most ""perfect"" members - nothing about your appearance and personality can be faulted by anyone? Post some pics and videos of yourselves and let's see how we perceive you. Geez.

I agree - it is a daily tirade. Poor RR was hoarse when i saw her last evening so I doubt she had been ""screaming"" earlier in the day . I don't understand why these ubber critical women even bother to watch TV - they should just sit in front of a mirror and entertain themselves as they seem to be the only even slightly tolerable person they know.

Not sure where the idea came from that this is a fashion forum, nor is it about Temptations. But anyway, I didn't find RR obnoxious or rude. Obviously more than one of the hosts didn't know her merchandise very well. David especially. When she was trying to talk about her seasonings (grinders) David was the one interrupting. I wanted to hear her talk about how to use them, and he kept interrupting, trying to read from the containers. Why not just be quiet and let the vendor speak. That's what I would have liked. Mary Beth worked well with Rachel I thought. She knew when to be quiet and let Rachel explain her products. David not so much. I didn't see eye rolling, etc. as I don't usually look at his "childish expressions." At least Rachel acts like a grown up and feminine, as she should be.

Sorry for the confusion - there is a Rachel Ray thread on the Fashion Forum (really a bash Rachel thread) which I posted on first. Then I saw two more on here where people were saying the same type of things, and just decided to copy and paste. A lot of people said they didn't like her products-I was making the point that I prefer hers to the ever-popular Temptations. And I agree with what you've said.

Rachael is starting to sound 'butchy' and so bossy - I saw her on with David too and poor David had his fake smile on the entire hour. He was never ever rude to RR and she just climbed all over him with her loud voice. I love David and yes he takes over when he is on but the show is called In the Kitchen with DAVID!!!! Just to remind myself I tuned into the RR show yesterday and she is not like this on her own show at all. Feel bad for the hosts, they must cringe when they see they have to host an hour with RR. I am so surprised her mother, sister, husband or QVC management hasn't spoken to her about how hideous and rude she behaves on QVC. That surprises me. Plus she uses words like 'that stupid thing' or this costs x amount of bucks - just so crass. Notice how delighted all the hosts are ( you can hear it in their voices) when their time is up with RR. Must be so exhausting for them constantly trying to come up with a strategy to get a word in. I loved RR back when she first started 30 Minute Meals - this is a major departure from those shows. Joan Rivers is on now - maybe RR should take a cue from her - she's funny - sometimes makes her presentations crazy good - but she is NEVER RUDE.

Rachael is starting to sound 'butchy'- Really?? Are you kidding me?? What a horribly crude ugly remark!! She's hideous and rude and so crass because of the expressions she uses? Maybe she's not fancy enough for you - you should have been around to watch the ever so "ladylike" Julia Child. Rachel is "what you see is what you get", and personally, I like that. It sounds like you must be personal friends with the hosts, since you seem to "know" what they are thinking and how they feel --and your hearing must be really sharp to know how they feel from their voices! One last thing - Joan Rivers (even though I like her) is sometimes rude and also Crude........

What a strange comment.

I think a grown-up should sense that it's better not to shout and be overly pushy and high-pressure if you truly believe in the merchandise you're selling.

And "feminine"? I don't even get what you're driving at with this adjective.

Amazing, though, how you manage to get your requisite dig into David Venable even when the thread isn't about him. Quite the obsession you've got going there.

I have always loved Rachel until the past couple of shows. There is something wrong. Maybe its a hormone issue or menopause or something. She is not her normal self, kind of snippy. Oh well, thats my perception of her.

Oh please. We are discussing people on TV. Calm down. Nobody is paying any attention at all to this except the people reading and if you don't like it don't read it. For crying out loud. Like many of you haven't criticized people on these boards. . . Really!
