When she was single and on the Food Network I loved watching, especially the eating for $40.00 a day.  She as had a great deal of bad press lately and not sure if any of it is true from her mental health to alcoholism.  Report of her and her husband splitting up and that her cooking shows are now really sloppy.  I do hope none of this is true.

Re: Rachael Ray!

Lost interest in RR years ago.  Liked her when she first came on the cooking show scene even though she was a home cook.  She was pleasant to watch, recipes are something I would make.

I Would not purchase her cookware though, not quality.  I've seen recent photos of her and did not know it was her. Had to read who it was.

Yes, she has been gone from qvc for years.

I started watching Rachael Ray on Food Network when she traveled to different cities with a $40.00 budget to spend on a meal (s), and her show Meals in 30 min.  I enjoyed watching them, not too much in her later shows while cooking in her home with her husband as a co-host.

I really like Rachael and absolutely love many of her products. Even with near-daily use, the cookware set I purchased 18 years ago still looks like new and performs perfectly. And I would not be without her spoonulas—I realize that I'm a bit crazy, but I have two backup sets just in case. I also have other dishes, gadgets, and cookbooks from her line that I still enjoy. If anyone is interested, Amazon always has a nice selection at fairly nice prices.

As for TV, she has a couple of new-ish shows that air on A&E (and FYI, which I believe is owned by A&E) that are reasonably good.

I especially like her large (8qt) oval pasta pot.  I use it weekly, and purchased a number of them for gifts.  Mine looks worn, but after the years - so do I!

I loved "30 minute meals". I learned a lot from Rachael as a young cook coming home to prepare dinner after a long day at work, with minutes to get it going !
And I also still have and use several of her pieces including the long pasta pot! I thought that pot was genius! I wish it would be updated now with a safer interior. The technology has changed a lot regarding cookware-

Yes! I have this pot, also, and it's a workhorse in my house. I wish, thought, that it was stainless steel, as I've grown concerned about non-stick cookware.  Even so, I have a few very expensive vessels, including LC, and I still use that oval Rachel Ray pot very often.

We bought Rachel rays oval pan set 11 years ago and we live them. I was buying a new pan set of hers. I was going to get another Oval set in hard ionized this time but she no longer sells them in sets. So I got a different set. Not nearly as big and there just round. Work well but I wanted the bigger size. Our set is blue.very faded. But that's my fault because there not dishwasher safe and I put them in the dishwasher for 11years. We have other stuff of hers allso. Ramicans, utensils.
