Re: Question for tea drinkers

I like Lipton's black tea but will drink plain Earl Grey that is decaffinated after 6:00PM. Most restaurants offer Earl Grey, so I'll drink that.

Every time I think about tea (which I often drink in Winter) I go back to when my daughter's danced.

The dance teacher taught us to put the elastic from the dance costumes into very hot tea to dye the straps skin color.

That is one reason I put a little milk into my dark tea.

Re: Question for tea drinkers

Teavanna blend of JavaVana and MatéVana; black dragon pearls, or golden monkey rosettes--all loose teas. I also like some of the white and black teabag varieties from A Might Leaf, Republic of Tea, and Twining's. I also have a couple of unopened varieties from a local branch of The Spice Merchant. Not a fan of chai, green, or herbals.

For some reason, I have never been able to get into the berry flavored teas. The tea flavor I love the most is peppermint. I have both caffeine free and regular, Twinnings Plantation Mint

Usually I drink coffee in the morning and tea is later. The vanilla chai sounds wonderful. What brand is it?

The berry flavored teas are not my favorites, either, for some reason. I am most in love with the peppermint as well! I would also like to try the vanilla chai. Love this thread!

Re: Question for tea drinkers

I was dining at a Mexican restaurant that served what they called a ""Jamaican punch."" Actually what it was was cold Hibiscus tea. It tasted kind of fruity. It was really good.

Re: Question for tea drinkers

I've really enjoyed reading everyone's tea preferences. Lolakimono thanks for sharing those recipes, I like all those flavors. Think I'll start with the Orange-Earl Grey iced tea. Well, I've had my Sleepytime chamomile tea and it's working, time for bed. I hope more people will share their favorite tea blends and brands, I've learned more about tea than I knew this morning. Smile

I have been enjoying Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane and Bigelow Ginger Snappish this winter. For iced teas, I like Tazo Zen, Wild Sweet Orange, and Passion Fruit. Stash Coconut Mango is also a delicious iced tea.

Love chai latte. I am using the Keurig by Café Escapes. Also enjoy Tazo chai latte.

CindyinNC, I like the peppermint flavors too. The chai tea is really delicious. The brand I am drinking is Bigelow Vanilla Chai. They have other chai flavors too...Caramel, Chocolate, Spiced, and Green Tea chai, but so far the vanilla is the only one I've tried.

brii, Since you like chamomile and mint, and already drink Celestial Seasonings, you would probably like their Sleepytime teas. The one I am currently enjoying is their Lemon Jasmine decaf green tea, it has chamomile, spearmint, and lemon grass. Not sure if it's just the idea of Sleepytime, but it does seem to help me relax before bedtime.

Where do you get all the different kinds of Chai Teas?

The Bigelow brand that I am drinking has them in my local grocery store which is one of the Kroger stores. I was actually pleasantly surprised that they offer such an extensive selection of teas since I live in fairly small town.

Re: Question for tea drinkers

I like half black tea and half organic green tea, Uncle Lee's which I make by the pot in the morning and I like soy milk in it. Good Earths Sweet & Spicy is good hot or cold.
