I love my tea. Grew up with tea and toast for breakfast, before going to school. I do prefer green tea or white tea. My Gyno had told me years ago, that green tea is wonderful and beneficial for womens' good health, and white tea is even better. I'm not into the sweet teas, but Earl Grey is quite nice. I do like the brand called Stash they have a wonderful green tea and I believe it has lemon grass in it as well. It's good stuff. Also anything from Good Earth is a great brand as well.

Justjules, if you like Earl Grey, Stash makes an Earl Grey with Double Bergamot. My mother loves that. It can be hard to find, but you can order it from Amazon. I prefer Darjeeling...or any black tea.
Of course, I love chai...not from the box. I like the type you can get at Starbucks. I might try the vanilla black tea you mentioned. What I do then is add some International Delight Cold Stone liquid creamer...awesome!
BTW, what brand is the vanilla black tea? Thanks!

My preferred: Taizo Chai or Yogi Green Tea Chai

I'm totally boring - my tea is Lipton Decaf. But I can only drink hot beverages when the weather is cold or I'm sick. The rest of the year I don't drink anything hot.
I remember, back in the days before I knew I needed to avoid caffeine, that I absolutely LOVED English Breakfast Tea.
I just like something that tastes like TEA and nothing added in it, of course. I tried some of the fake teas over the years and, while they smell divine, they always tasted icky to me. I tried green tea once, when the husband accidentally bought me the wrong one, and it tasted like grass so I went back to my Lipton Decaf. I think it's just a basic black tea.

Hi Madisson, the Earl Grey tea I am currently drinking is by Stash, I like their teas but haven't tried the double bergamot.
The vanilla chai tea is by Bigelow, it's really very good. I think Stash makes a chai tea as well.
I appreciate everyone responding about their tea preferences, it's nice to learn new things and hear how others like their tea. Several tea brands have been mentioned that I had not heard of and it makes me curious to try them. It's always good to expand your taste bud horizons.

I'm a dedicated tea drinker. Nothing makes me happier then a nice cup of hot tea !
Great brands have been mentioned, Marriages Freres ( a must stop when in Paris, lovely lunch and tea parlor, can I just say Creme Brûlée Tart
), Fortnum and Mason in London ( they make a very good cup of coffee too, as I travel with a coffee lover). Those brands are great for loose tea. I prefer a large paper filter for loose tea, easy clean-up, straight into the compost bucket. For convenience I also use ( and travel with ) tea bags, my favs are Yorkshire Gold and PG Tips. Both make a nice cup of black tea, I add unsweetened soy milk.
I found this nice company " Traditional Medicinals" that makes very good herbal blends. I like Eater's Digest, Smooth Move, Gypsy Cold Care and many others.
Great thread, I'm off to have another cup of PG tips now.

I always enjoyed Lipton's Herbal teas and can no longer get them at least in my area. I even went to their website and found nothing. I also have noticed that the shelves in the grocery stores have very little choices in flavored teas. To make matters worse I cannot have caffeine. Around the Holidays Celestial comes out with several flavored teas and I would stock up on the decaf ones. Then I started noticing a strange feeling in my throat.....even had to have an Endoscopy done and the diagnosis was to stop drinking the Celestial teas. Ever since stopping them I am fine so there must be something in them that irritates my throat. I am currently drinking Tetley Green Tea which tastes like the tea that you get at a Chinese restaurant. Also Bigalow Orange Spice. Great thread as I am learning a lot about teas.

Though I haven't read the replies, I may be duplicating a recommendation, which is for Upton Tea. One purchases through their catalog or by going to their website. In your case, I'd recommend that you go to uptontea.com and ask for a catalog. This will afford you with the opportunity to page through the many varities of teas. (They have SO many teas, it's really helpful to have that catalog!)
I've ordered various black teas from them (all excellent), which includes an apricot one and a cherry one. The mango black tea is super for iced tea at our house in the summer. For regular use, I purchase Decaf Darjeeling, as I'm not supposed to drink anything with caffeine in it.
Good luck!
